Become a Board Member
We are currently accepting applications for our board of directors. We do have the following expectations of our board members. Should you feel that these are acceptable, please click on the "Board Application" form at the bottom of the page and our executive director or board president will be in contact with you shortly.
EXPECTATIONS OF MEMBERS OF THE MENTAL HEALTH FOUNDATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Mission: To create and sustain a community which supports and understands people with mental illness.
• Attend at least five of eight of the meetings of the Mental Health Foundation board of directors.
• Actively participate in a standing committee of the Board, providing expertise and leadership.
• Become a member of the LLL Club (min. $250 personal donation).
• Secure cash or in kind donations through fundraising initiatives such as: ticket purchases and sales, acquisition of auction items, connections to organizations/granting foundations, etc.
• Attend at least one foundation program event annually.
• Market the foundation within the community and to your friends and associates.
