Stomp Out Stigma - 5K Walk for Mental Health 2016 is Proudly Presented by i understand


WHEN:
May 21, 2016

9:30am Walk Start
10am - 11:30am Finish Festival Featuring Concert and Vendors NEW in 2016!

WHERE:
The 3 mile walk begins in the Seward Parking lot across from the downtown Pew Campus of Grand Valley State University and will travel along the Grand River's downtown boardwalk.

WHY:
The stigma associated with mental illness is one of the greatest barriers that prevent people from seeking help. This walk not only strives to raise awareness but encourages people to be mentally fit. All proceeds from Stomp Out Stigma 5K Walk for Mental Health Presented by i understand benefit the education programs of the Mental Health Foundation of West Michigan.

REGISTRATION:
Registration for this event is FREE.
NEW this year: In order to receive the commemorative shirt, walkers must raise $100 or more for the Mental Health Foundation. All proceeds support mental health education programs for youth and adults in our community.
