Donations 

Contributions made directly to the Mental Health Foundation will help to support our efforts to educate the community & overcome the stereotypes associated with mental illness through our presentations, newsletters & special educational events. The Mental Health Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.

Our Endowment

The Mental Health Foundation has also created an endowment fund administered by the Grand Rapids Community Foundation (GRCF). Interest from this fund allows us to make grants to individuals with severe and persistent mental illnesses to support their needs that remain unmet through other financial resources. Because GRCF is the designated community foundation for Grand Rapids, contributions made to the GRCF & earmarked for the Mental Health Foundation of West Michigan are eligible to receive the Michigan tax credit. Contributors are encouraged to seek the advice of their tax and/or financial consultants.
